To all of our DASS Art friends,
When we started the business 20 years ago, most of you were wondering how you could merge the digital world with traditional art, and that idea is what was the foundation behind DASS Art. We started the business with DVDs that talked about a simple alcohol gel transfer, and then Bonny continued to innovate and create new products and new processes that achieved the goal of merging traditional and digital art. As Bonny says, “restoring the hand to the dark room” was always her goal. We’ve enjoyed working with you all these years.
As with all good things, an end must come, and that’s where we are today with DASS Art.
We are working on a list of alternative products that we will share with you shortly, so please join our Facebook group or our Instagram page where we will post those updates when we have them.
It’s been a wonderful experience working with you and serving you, and we thank you for your business and your support over these many years. We wish you all the best.

A note from Bonny:
My fellow artists and creators, this is a transition for us for sure. All those years ago when I was given an opportunity by a technology company to play with a new printer and told “go do something wonderful” without realizing what path it would set me on. From that initial experimentation, the technology allowed me to merge the classical art training that I had in college, the techniques that I developed for my own art, and then these new capabilities into something that was far beyond anything I dreamed.
One of the things that I’ve enjoyed the most is teaching and sharing these processes with you. From our original beginnings with DVDs (for those of you under the age of 30 those are shiny pieces of plastic), to writing three best-selling books, delivering in person workshops, meeting you at conferences, and having great times at Adobe Max, it truly has been the highlight of my career.
Now that DASS ART is coming to an end, I’ve decided to focus on what I love doing, which is creating art. You can stay in touch with me on our Facebook group, Instagram, and I will be still posting videos on YouTube and Vimeo. If you are ever in Denver, please stop into Walker Fine Art, they are my local gallery, and I have a show coming up there in March of 2027. So if you’re in town, please stop by and say hello.

Hello friends, I’ve had a great time over the past 20 years getting to know you. From those of you at our schools, who used our products to teach a generation of young artists and creators, to those I enjoyed meeting at our in person workshops, and most recently through all of the virtual workshops that we’ve shared together, it’s been a highlight of my life.
I’ve learned as much from you as you have from us, and it’s been an amazing ride seeing what we have created together with these wonderful innovative processes and product that Bonny invented, coupled with your creative muse.
